We are primarily a family oriented village social club affiliated to the Royal British Legion and located in Sutton approx. 6 miles west of the Cathedral City of Ely Cambridgeshire.

The Sutton & District (Isle of Ely) branch of The Royal British Legion was formed as long ago as 1921. The club however was not founded until 1946. Our first premises were an old second world war Nissen hut salvaged from RAF Mildenhall but we moved to new purpose-built premises at The Brooklands Centre in 1997. These premises incorporate a members club, and the village hall which is managed by the club in conjunction with the parish council.

The Brooklands Centre is in the centre of the village adjacent to the school and incorporates an outdoor bowling green, sports pavilion and 2 football pitches which are run by the parish council.

Membership numbers are typically around 120 with a friendly family atmosphere. Contrary to common perception the average age of members is under 40.

As a member you have unlimited admission to the club during opening hours and may be accompanied by your partner without additional charge. Members are also permitted to sign in up to 2 guests to accompany them at any one time.

All Royal British Legion members are welcome to use the club and our members have reciprocal arrangements nationwide.
